THE ROAD TO MANITONITO (V)

The final push.  Naturally, just when it looked like we were getting there...

...the path took a turn for the vertical, and got really slippery.  I managed to fall on my rump several times in the three weeks that I was over there.  This was one of the places it happened.  As is always the case, going up wasn't so bad (the temperature was only about a thousand degrees), but coming back down was an adventure.

Ahhh, Manitonito.  What do you mean we gotta go BACK!?
