A PASSCAL data archiving workshop is offered prior to Fall AGU Meeting in San Francisco. We will present new methods and tools, and outline best practices for archiving PASSCAL and Flexible Array data. PASSCAL users who are new or unfamiliar with seismic data processing, or those who simply wish a refresher in basic concepts and procedures, are especially encouraged to attend this one-day workshop.
PASSCAL staff will discuss passive source data archiving with the Antelope package in the morning and controlled source data processing utilizing the ph5 archival format in the afternoon. Computers with current software and small data sets will be available for guided, hands-on practice. All participants should have a basic working knowledge of UNIX structure and commands. For a more detailed agenda, please see the workshop outline. Questions regarding the workshop may be directed to the data_group [at] passcal [dot] nmt [dot] edu (data group) at PASSCAL.
This free workshop is offered by PASSCAL staff. The deadline for applying to attend was October 31st, 2009.
We hope to see you there. Check back here for updates on the upcoming workshop.
