Descr: There are two parts to this project: The first is a minor deployment (referred to as the ÒCalibration ArrayÓ) to produce accurate locations of microearthquakes in the Parkfield drill site region that will allow us to differentiate between competing structural models for the area. This deployment will take place prior to drilling and will be used to help guide the drilling operation. The second part is a dense deployment designed to produce better defined structural models of the area with longer term recording during and after the drilling.
