Descr: Class will use a 60 channel geophone spread and a 8 gauge "Betsy Gun" to map the subsurface of a river bed near St. Louis, MO. Refraction arrivals will be analysed with the "delay time" or "generalized reciprocal" methodologies to determine variations in the depth to bedrock along a 1 -km long line. Seismic results will be combined with resistivity results in the final report.
