Descr: The requested instruments will be used for survey of micro earthquakes (MEQ) in the Desert Peak-Brady geothermal fields. The pattern of MEQ events will be utilized to discern the subsurface geometry of faults and fractures that channel fluids. Depending on the quality and magnitude of recorded events, an attempt will be made to derive focal mechanisms, which will elucidate the present-day stress field in the geothermal fields.
