Descr: Virginia Tech intends to propose the Kimballton Mine in southwestern Virginia as a candidate site for the NSF-sponsored DUSEL (Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory) project. The seismic survey is required for site feasibility and deeper mine design, which will be used for a competititve NSF proposal.
