Descr: A 15 month passive experiment will collect data around a locality in Costa Rica where a suite of mantle nodules (xenoliths) has recently been discovered. Teleseismic data will be used for investigations of crustal and upper mantle structure (both iotropic and anisotropic) via a combination of receiver function analysis and shear wave birefringence studies. We also expect to share data with the project by Fischer and Abers (Central America BBBArray) for studies of local seismicity and for tomographic imaging of the region.
