Descr: I am teaching an introductory geophysics class in spring 2006. I use field project to provide hands on training in geophysical methods. An element of the class I've done for years is refraction and high resolution reflection. The class will use the equipment on two weekends. The first will be refraction and the second high resolution reflection. The refraction site will be at a location near the White River. The reflection experiment will add coverage to an experiment done last year over and abandoned, underground limestone mine. We will use high resolution reflection to locate the voids from mining.
