Descr: NSF-CD project to study the Taiwan orogen. Project funded Aug 2004 - July 2009. This project involves several geophysical methods. Active-source seismic work includes (Phase A) explosion land refraction across the Taiwan island and (Phase B) double-side onshore-offshore profiling using airgun sources in the Pacific Ocean and the Taiwan Strait. PASSCAL instruments are requested here for Phase B.
