Descr: Five students from physics departments at HBCUs will spend 3 weeks in South Africa to attend a geophysics field course run by the University of the Witwatersrand. Students will use a variety of geophysical methods, including seismic refraction, to investigate a platinum deposit in the Bushveld complex.
