Descr: The experiment is a field exercise for a Near-surface Geophysics class at New Mexico Tech. In the first week that we have the equipment, the students will be familiarized with the instrument on campus at NMT. During the second week, the students will perform a refraction survey to determine the depth to the water table in the diversion channel ~1 km NE of the PASSCAL Instrument Center.
