Descr: This was a piggyback experiment to utilize 140 SGRs and 60 3-component PASSCAL instruments to record a 140 km line utilizing 4 USGS shots designed to calibrate the local USGS array in the Mendocino area. The primary scientific objective of this refraction survey was to determing recording condition is this geologically complex region, and if possible, establish crustal thickness by imaging the top of the subducting Gorda plate.
