Descr: This experiment is designed to look at exploration methods for geothermal areas using both fault-zone guided wave tomography and S-wave splitting tomography. 10 1 Hz and 30 2 Hz stations will be employed to record 3-component seismograms in order to determine the S-wave splitting times for use in tomographic mapping of the fracture density at Mammoth.
