Descr: The purpose is to investigate the Seattle fault and other west-trending faults that bound northward-moving, seismically active crustal blocks. Profiles will extend from 70 km south of the Puget sound to beyond the Canadian border. The data will be collected using compressed air sources in the major waterways, recorded using a marine streamer towed behind the ship and land-based seismometers on the adjacent shores.
