Descr: Lithospheric structure and evolution of the Rocky Mountain transect of the western Archean-Wyoming suture in southern Wyoming and the Jemez lineament/Yavapai-Mazatzal suture in Northern New Mexico. Part of the project will involve high resolution reflectin profiling to depths of several kilometers using vibrator sourc es, and higher resolution reflection profiling to depths of several hundred meters using shotgun and /or small explosive sources. (These surveys will be followed by crustal scale reflection and refraction surveys using the commercial crews and walkmen seismographs, and teleseismic investigations of the same areas).
