  • Descr: We propose to collect and analyze data from a dense seismic array to be deployed centered on Middle Mountain near Parkfield, CA. Data from the array will be used to produce a high resolution 3D image of the SAF zone at Parkfield. The principal motivation is to help interpret the in-situ observations from the proposed Parkfield borehole (downhole observations and cores) in the context of the seismically-imaged variations in structure along the fault.
