  • Descr: This is a joint project with the University of Karlsruhe and National Institute of Earth Physics, Romania. We will record a 400 km long seismic profile across the Carpathian Mountains in Eastern Romania. Project involves both large shots for refraction and many small shots for reflection. Objective is to image the crust and upper mantle under the southern Carpathian Mountains, a region of active seismic activity.
