Seismic test pier. This is the facility where broadband sensors are tested after they come back from a deployment. This pier is not an observatory quality pier. However it is good enough to verify that the sensors are working.
Three Guralp 3T's ready to be tested on the pier. The foam boxes are used to insulate the sensors when they are in operation to reduce thermal effects on the signal
