Nexus

Nexus is a simple tool for creating SEED meta-data.

You will need Anaconda/Miniconda to install Nexus. If you do not have a version of Conda installed, go here, and install the correct version for your platform.

Mac OSX:

  • Install Conda if you haven't already.
  • Navigate to this page and download the install file.
  • Uncompress the install file. Open a bash shell, and navigate to the new folder (Nexus_osx).
  • From the command line, execute 'bash installer.sh'.
  • After installing, execute the command 'source ~/.bash_profile', or reopen a command line window.
  • Start exploring Nexus by typing nexus from the command line.

Linux:

  • Install Conda if you haven't already.
  • Navigate to this page and download the install file.
  • Uncompress the install file. Open a bash shell, and navigate to the new folder (Nexus_linux64).
  • From the command line, execute 'bash installer.sh'.
  • After installing, execute the command 'source ~/.bashrc', or reopen a command line window.
  • Start exploring Nexus by typing nexus from the command line.
