The only sane place to watch the New Year's fireworks display on The Strip. On TV from miles away -- according to the locals.
I'd never been to a big-time musical play before...I guess I've never gotten out much. On this trip we all went to see the show Mamma Mia! at the Mandalay Bay.
The stage during intermission.
The stage after the show was over. You were not allowed to take pictures during the performance. I would have snuck in a couple, but I didn't want to get kicked out. The play was way too good.
Above is Russ Thomas Grieve. He was one of the cast members that was able to get us good seats and gave us a nice tour backstage after the show. There sure was a lot of stuff that went on behind the scenes.
The Luxor is next door to Mandalay Bay.
Frenchman Mountain northeast of town.
Sounds good to me.
